Security

Your students’ data is protected like it matters. Because it does.

Student records deserve better than an afterthought. Security is built into ClearPath’s foundation, not added to its surface.

  • FERPA-grade architecture.
  • Encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Row-level security enforced in the database itself, not just the app.
  • Access logging on every student record.
  • Role-based access, with paraprofessional access controlled by the case manager.
  • Hosted in the United States.
  • Your data is always yours — and always exportable.
  • And this site itself sets no cookies and runs no trackers.

Row-level security, in plain language

Most software decides what you’re allowed to see inside the application: the app checks your role, then shows or hides records. ClearPath does that too — and then the database enforces the same rules itself. Every request reaches the database carrying the identity of the person making it, and the database hands back only the rows that person is permitted to see.

A request for anything outside that scope isn’t hidden by the app. It is refused by the database. If a bug in the application ever asked for the wrong student’s record, the answer would still be no.

And this site

This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. It makes one third-party request, for its typefaces, and collects nothing — there isn’t even a form. If you want to reach us, it’s an email.
