Our mission
Your time and energy belong to the student in front of you — not to the system.
ClearPath puts highly capable tools in the hands of highly capable educators, so their energy goes to the work that matters: the connection, the intervention, and the teaching.
Why it exists
Most special education software doesn’t elevate the work. It just moves it.
Nikki started in the classroom as a special education teacher: writing the plans, taking the data, and sitting across the table from families. The work mattered, and so did the paper — and the two were always competing for the same hours.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst she went on to consult in public and private schools, working with teams on behavior support — and seeing, school after school, skilled people pouring hours into the record itself: the same student’s information entered in place after place, whole afternoons spent transferring data from one system to another just to assemble a full picture of one child.
She has been an advocate, sitting beside families in the meetings that matter. And she is a parent who has sat on the family’s side of the table at her own child’s IEP meetings — the seat that shows most clearly what a well-documented plan means to the people it is about.
Many seats at the same table
I’ve sat in many seats at the IEP table: special education teacher, BCBA consulting in public and private schools, advocate, and parent, on the family’s side of the table with my own child. ClearPath exists because of those seats — every feature is there because someone sitting in one of them needed it.
ClearPath is what those seats add up to.
